Vacation Day 1 & 2 - The car

The girls started school 2 weeks ago, and now we are going on our family vacation.  Not sure it is the best parenting move, but we are excited to see my brother's family and then go to Arkansas for diamond digging.  We left after Bob got off work and started on our merry way.  At about midnight we stopped at a hotel and called it a night.  Cecelia got to sleep in the "window bed".  Lydia had a fever.  Not the best way to start our trip.  We made it to Texas on day 2 and to my brother and Aimee's house by dinnertime.  A lot of driving, but good to get it over with quickly!
